Here it is...C'est Magnifique Kit's August Main Kit "Beautiful Stories"! Just as it's name implies, I feel it is meant to tell a beautiful story. I have used it for some very romantic pages. I have also used the opposite side of one of the pages for a cute picture of my grandson. So it is not just girly...

I can't believe I have been so busy I haven't shared my weekend with my Scrappy Sisters and Teresa Collins!! We had a Blast! We cropped from Friday morning til Sunday afternoon! But the really Fun Cool part was the classes Friday Night, Saturday morning, Saturday afternoon into Saturday night with Teresa Collins!! She is such a sweet, fun, creative person to be around. She puts her heart and soul into the projects she teaches in her classes. While she teaches she opens up and you really get to know her. She loves what she does and it shows.  Here are some pictures of the weekend.

When Teresa comes to Arkansas, she likes to eat good ole' southern barbecue!

When I finish some of the projects....I'll post them...

My Projects with the August C'est Magnifique Add On Kits...

The August C'est Magnifique Add On Kits remind me of romance! So my projects have gone in that direction...of course that's my favorite....

This first one is a picture of my youngest daughter on her wedding day! Hard to believe it has been five years!

This Paper from the Add On Kit is gorgeous without anything on it! I did use items from the Flower Add On, Embellishment Add On, and Mixed Media Add On Kits. I also used some cheese cloth, and distress ink from my stash.

The next one is my son asking his girlfriend to marry him. They had been on a carriage ride and he had given his camera to the driver.

"She said Yes"

I had fun doing this one. I fussy cut the flowers and bird. I used pop-dot for dimension.  I made the frame around the photo with the strip at the bottom of a piece of paper from the kit. I used items from the Paper Add On, Embellishment Add On, and Mixed Media Add On Kits. I used a punch, ink, and a piece of card stock from my stash.

The third project is a picture of my oldest daughter. She was a bridesmaid at my son's wedding. I have always loved this picture of her.

I used items from the Flower Add On, Embellishment Add On, and Mixed Media Kits. I also used some gesso, and a stencil from my stash.

The Add On Kits are available at the store now. If you see something you like, you can pick it up there, here is the link

Two of my Good Friends and I went down to Byram, MS this weekend. Yes, a little town outside Jackson. These two sisters and their momma, put on the best Crop I've ever been to. They do it twice a year, in January and July. They always have a theme, so you can decorate your table, dress up or what ever. They give out prizes for the best dressed table. They have vendors there. (so you can spend more $$) hehe. The have side classes. They have contests for layouts, altered objects, cards. They have a silent auction. All the croppers can bring an item($8-10 bought with coupon, you can go over) wrap it up, and donate it. They then donate the money. They give to the Ronald McDonald House, and other Medical needs like the Burn Center for Children thru the Shriner's. But let me tell you, they have this Crop thing down. There were 150 people there. They have had crops with 250+. Everyone gets door prizes....everyone!!!Not just any door prize, They don't ask companies to give them stuff to giveaway. They buy the prizes at reduced prices so that everyone gets a prize! We EACH received two of Teresa Collins' kits, also her Adhesive kit,  Minds' Eye Kit, Kate and Co. kit,  four 6x6 paper pads, and a tote!! They fed us lunch and dinner Friday and Saturday with snacks in-between!! Plus these ladies are so down to earth sweet, genuinely nice people. You go away from here feeling like you have made three new friends. Plus all the new Scrappers you meet! Now the name of their organization is "Crop Connection". Some of you from this area may have already heard of them. If you ever get a chance you need to attend one of their crops. I promise you won't be sorry.
Sorry this post was so long. I just got back and just had to share!

We won Honorable Mention on our table decoration!!! YAY!!
